Conflict-Free Minerals
Conflict Minerals: Minerals sourced from mining areas in conflict zones of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or neighboring countries. These conflict zones are controlled by non-governmental armed groups engaged in illegal mining, which leads to human rights violations and armed violence, triggering international disputes. The minerals involved include Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn), Tungsten (W), Cobalt (Co), Mica, and Gold (Au).
In accordance with the standards set by the EICC (Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition), Berheng continues to manage and support the Conflict-Free Minerals Policy, fulfilling its social responsibility, and commits to the following:
1.Not purchasing conflict minerals sourced from conflict regions.
2.Requiring suppliers to reject the use of conflict minerals from conflict regions and sign a commitment to refrain from using such minerals.
3.Requiring suppliers to manage their upstream and downstream suppliers, ensuring compliance with the conflict-free minerals requirements.
4.Making every effort to ensure the origin of materials and rejecting the use of conflict minerals sourced from conflict regions.
